Our Postcard Row Launch Party and How To Host a Stitch Club!
Share
On May 1st, the day of our official launch of Postcard Row, we hosted a few of our friends to celebrate and to teach them how to needlepoint! Most of our friends came without any needlepointing background and left almost-pros at the basketweave stitch.

We had our current collection of canvases on display and set up light bites and bubbly (a must for any celebration!). After mingling and a few glasses of champagne, we sat down for a basketweaving lesson. Teaching a smaller group (around 6 people) was a much easier feat for our first needlepoint lesson! We had a selection of our choose-your-own-adventure bookmark canvases laid out for our friends to choose from for their first projects.

In addition, everyone got a gift bag, project bag, mini scissors, and two to three skeins of DMC pearl cotton 5 from a variety of color options for their first project.
If your friends don’t stitch yet, but you want to teach them with our canvases, you can reach out to us for a special deal on multiples of our needlepoint bookmarks. We feel that these are great projects for beginners in terms of size, amount of background, and that you can kit the canvases yourself with DMC pearl cotton 5 from any big-box craft store. Add some cheese, crackers, candy salad, and a drink of choice and you can have yourself a stitch night!

The most fun part is getting progress photos from friends on their canvases:

Let us know if you start your own stitch club, and we'll keep you updated on ours!
